What is a Service?

A Service is a process that is applied to a scanned image, and is used in conjunction with eCopy ShareScan and Connectors for ShareScan.

A Service modifies, enhances or classifies a document (image) without regard for end destination.

Services can provide functionality such as encryption, searchable text, a variety of File Formats (TIF, PDF, eCopy, PDF/A), file naming, blank page removal and document tracking.
