Specifications:
- What is a Connector?
- A Connector provides native integration from eCopy ShareScan or eCopy Desktop to virtually any back-end application.
- Connectors for ShareScan
- How does it work?

Furthermore, API level integration lets the Connector communicate directly to a server in its language and receive information back instantaneously.
- Benefits:
- Easy administration - Changes to back end applications are immediately and automatically reflected at the eCopy ShareScan-enabled device
- Support compliance and security initiatives - Enable audit trails and ensure security through authentication and file encryption files for scanned documents
- Standardize on a single document capture platform - Users work with a familiar interface at any of the networked copiers/scanners
- Create customized workflows to store and index documents based on the users needs
- Increase operational efficiencies - Easily access, modify, distribute, and share paper-based documents
- Leverage investment in backend applications- Quickly and easily get paper into any backend application
- Connectors for Desktop
- How does it work?
- Connectors for eCopy Desktop extend eCopy Desktop's functionality by providing users native integration between backend business applications and eCopy Desktop. Within eCopy Desktop, users can manage and modify PDF documents then store them directly into a specific backend application; conversely, they can pull documents from a backend application directly into eCopy Desktop.
- Benefits:
- Makes available tighter integration into document management systems, storage, OCR, and fax applications not currently supported in the standard eCopy Desktop offering
- Provides the ability to gain access to eCopy Desktop viewing and document manipulation capabilities
- Enhances eCopy Desktop's role as a universal client for scanned documents, ultimately increasing workflow efficiencies for an organization and improving the user's experience
